Brolea is a small, very selective kennel which aims to better the quality of our Yorkshire Terriers with every generation.

The name Brolea is a derivative of my married and maiden names. Some years ago, I bought a pet Yorkie, who became the light of my life, and (as anyone with a Yorkie will know) rules me like an iron fist! I decided to have a litter, was fortunate to meet Johan Bosch and Dave Keytel, well known in the South African Show Ring for their Vihoven Yorkshire Terriers. They kindly allowed me to use one of their studs, and a friendship developed. I learned the art of ring craft and grooming, and began to show my dogs.

Based on the internationally renowned Ozmillion bloodline, my breeding is founded on the principle of line breeding. This has paid dividends, as can be seen by the success of the Brolea progeny in the show ring, against both locally bred and other imported dogs.
